In a recent article of the Smithsonian Magazine, (associated with the Smithsonian Museum) is a subject of Confederacy activity; After the war between the States had technically ended. The war of course was the Civil War that ended in 1865, here in the United States of America. A war fought by Union and Confederate soldiers. While the Confederate Army was forced to surrender, apparently a majority of these individuals had no intentions of simply walking away. The Confederacy just changed tactics, which is what in part, this article discusses. Some of that article I’d like to share with you.

—“After the Confederate surrender three years later, Black newspapers appeared in almost every Southern town. As Roudanez and other black editors documented white on black violence, (Southern) Democrats retaliated. In Opelousas, Louisiana they demolished the office of the pro-Republican Progresslynched its French-born editor and, according to the black owned San Francisco Elevator, shot as many as “one hundred negroes.” The Tribune also highlighted the calculus of terror, noting that ministers and other community leaders were high value targets. Southern “Democrats wanted to get those leaders out-of-the-way, ” one black editor said. “If they could not scare him out, then they would kill him.” The press, like the Freedman’s Bureau reports, documented an epidemic of bloody oppression”.

This article goes on at length, expounding on the constant vigil of violence perpetrated by those who held fast to the Confederacy. The violence was directed at those of both black and white persuasion, who were considered leaders in support of the United States of America and the founding principles in the U.S. Constitution. In fact, much of the related history can be found in NARA today. Those leaders were primarily those who held political office and ministers of various churches. People like John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Robert F. Kennedy, and Malcolm X.

The premise was one of a Totalitarian modus operandi. Question the Confederacy, malign the Confederacy and you will be the victim of ad hominem attacks, harassed, intimidated or murdered outright. This was a Totalitarian view intended to silence all dissent and examination. This process protected the guilty from ever having to defend themselves or be held accountable. Does any of this sound familiar to those of you in the JFK research community? (Review the following image).

Many take objection to the previous image, particularly to the addition to the Confederate flag. But like it or not, this representation is historically accurate. Each of the individuals with the Confederate flag by their names, were from former Confederate States. The one exception is former President Gerald Ford. Now ask yourself, what do these two groups have in common? The person associated with the “Union” flag or “United States” flag were all in strong support of Civil Rights. These individuals also fit precisely the types of people “targeted” by the old hardliner Southern Democrats (read Confederates), immediately after the Civil War. The same Confederates opposed anti-Slavery laws, also supported the use of both slavery and white indentured servants. This is the same party that supported the Old Plantation owners of the deep South, lording it over everyone else. The party that sought to block black Americans from voting, the creators of the Klu Klux Klan.

Since the assassination of John F. Kennedy, we have seen the systematic erosion of the middle class. We’ve seen the good old boy cronyism advanced to the present day. We’ve witnessed time and again the privileged not being prosecuted for serious crimes. You have witnessed the refusal by the Federal government to “Honor” the laws of the land, by refusing to release records relative to JFK’s assassination long past their legal release date.

Let me ask you to think hard about who “benefited” by the assassination of John F. Kennedy? Think about the roles that many of these people associated with former Confederate States played in the cover-up of JFK’s assassination. Is it a coincidence Lyndon Johnson became President? Is it coincidence that he, Gov. John Connally, Gerald Ford and George Herbert Walker Bush played key roles in manipulation of evidence and witnesses after the assassination? As a researcher, one of the things I look for is patterns, and this pattern I find disturbing. I reflect on the words of former President George H.W. Bush in regards to the U.S. Constitution…”it’s just a damn piece of paper”.

Think on this…

  • John F. Kennedy was going to drop Lyndon Johnson as his running mate in the next election. When JFK was murdered, LBJ became President.
  • John F. Kennedy was going to fire J. Edgar Hoover, (then Director of the FBI). Lyndon Johnson gave J.E. Hoover his position for life after the murder of JFK, and after LBJ took over as President.
  • John Connally was the primary person responsible for setting up the motorcade route through Dealey Plaza, including last minute changes.
  • John Connally blocked extradition of assassination witnesses during the Jim Garrison trial of Clay Shaw, (for the assassination of JFK).
  • John Connally was forced to ride in the Presidents limo at the last minute, by JFK.
  • Gerald Ford assisted in giving false medical evidence related to JFK’s wounds.
  • George H.W. Bush owned Zapata Oil, the oil fields were located in Cuba, leading up to the infamous Bay of Pigs.
  • The ship, the “Barbara J” was loaned to anti-Castro Cubans for the Bay of Pigs invasion by Zapata Oil…(George Bush).
  • During the Warren Commission hearings, the CIA deliberately interfered with these hearings. George H.W. Bush was appointed Director of the CIA just prior to the House Select Committee on the Assassinations investigation. The CIA remains the number one U.S. Government agency consistently blocking the release of remaining assassination records.
  • General Edwin Walker was ordered arrested by Robert F. Kennedy shortly before the assassination of his brother John.
  • General Edwin Walker was openly defiant of “anti-segregation” laws.

If you reviewed the history of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, you would learn the assassins were former Confederates, (tied to Confederates operating out of Canada). Many times ties between suspects in the JFK assassination and Canada have been noted. This is especially true in the case of David Ferrie, Clay Shaw and Nickel mining deals. Are these ties to the old “Confederacy”?  Two months ago, I saw the front page of the local newspaper. The first thing that caught my eye was bold print stating “Democrats will look South for Presidential nominees”. I can’t say this surprised me. While John F. Kennedy was a Democrat, he had the distinction of being referred to as the “Yankee” Democrat. The majority of leading democrats from this era were Old Southern hardliners.

It is with a final bit of irony that I’ll mention the following. One of the many observations made by the Warren Commission was that Lee Harvey Oswald “had no confederates”, interesting choice of words. I would have to agree with that statement since Lee Harvey Oswald didn’t kill John F. Kennedy, nor was he a supporter of the Old South bigotry.

Just a Confederate Coincidence?
